Pottstown, PA – The application cycle is now open for EQUUS Foundation Back on Track Veterans Services Grants!
The EQUUS Foundation’s motto, “For the Love of Horses,” drew Back on Track USA CEO, James Ruder, to the EQUUS Foundation to design a program that recognizes the impact horses have on people's lives.
That impact is clearly visible at the EQUUS Foundation Guardian charities that provide Equine Assisted Services to veterans and the family members of veterans. The Back on Track Veterans Services Grants were established to recognize and support the horses that support our heroes.
Grant recipients will receive a $500 grant to support the care of a specific horse that provides services to veterans and their families. A minimum of $5,000 will be awarded in 2024.
If you are a 2024 EQUUS Foundation Guardian charity that provides Equine Assisted Services to veterans, nominate the special horses in your program before November 1, 2024 for consideration!
To apply, the EQUUS Foundation Guardian will need to log into its organization profile, select "BACK ON TRACK VETERANS SERVICES GRANTS", and complete the online application. Applicants must address how the funds will be used, and within six months of receipt of funds, grantees must report on the use of the funds, including bills for services rendered.
