Help your dog stay cool in the summer heat with the Cool on Track® cooling coat. The technical material cools effectively through evaporation, completely without chemicals or storage in the freezer. The coat is easy to use, all you need is water. Now you can help your dog stay cool regardless of the weather!
The Cool on Track® dog coat is easily adjusted with a hook and loop around the belly and neck. When the coat is not in use, you can unzip it and use it as a cooling blanket for both your dog and you.
Dogs are sensitive to heat because they can’t sweat as we humans do. During hot days or during hard training, it is important to ensure that your dog does not get too hot. Works great when also paired with our Cool on Track Bandana.
NOTE: High humidity levels effect the cooling performance of Cool on Track products. Levels in excess of 75% start to gradually reduce the products cooling properties. Variations in humidity levels across geographical markets are significant including level changes throughout the day.
IMPORTANT - How to Use Instructions
Saturate the product with tap water BEFORE bending fabric.
Squeeze out excess water.
Rewet the product once it starts to dry out.
When not in use, best to let dry. Rewet before next use.
If mold becomes present, wash with detergent. Mold once its wash may cause a stain. This is only a blemish and does not affect product performance.
Note: Other blankets should not be worn together with the cooling coat.
Carefully follow the washing and care instructions to get the best possible effect and durability.
FIT
Dog coat sizes are based on your dog's back length in centimeters. Back on Track dog coats feature adjustable elements that enable dog owners to tailor the fit to their dog's unique conformation. Use the size chart linked above to determine which dog coat size is the best fit for your dog. It's okay if your dog's measurements don't match an exact size. If your dog is between sizes, we recommend sizing up for more freedom and coverage. Read our [Pet Size Guide] for more information on dog coat fit and measuring your dog.
Hand washes only, 30°C. Use sparingly with mild liquid detergent. No bleach or fabric softener. No dry cleaning. Do not iron. Do not tumble dry. Rinse thoroughly and squeeze out excess water.
Storage Instructions
We recommend one of the following two approaches when storing a cool on track product (coat, bandana, towel) for any length time between uses.
Dampen the product before storing it. After removing all excess water, place the product back in the original plastic zippered bag. If mold develops due to excess moisture, the product can be safely washed with soap and warm water before use.
Place the Cool on Track product in a safe place and let it air dry. Before use, immerse the product in water to regain its flexibility. Do not attempt to bend Cool on Track when it is completely dry to avoid cracking the material.
